Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Some people say that kids are going up to stranger’s doorsteps and they give them candy. However, most of these people are the kid’s friends and neighbors. When kids are running around from house to house, most of the time their parents are close by. The holiday is not unnecessary because children are having fun. Halloween is a holiday where people dress up and decorate houses to scare people for the thrill of it. We may not know where the holiday originated but as long as we’re having fun then Halloween is alright.

My position on Halloween is that it should not be outlawed. Halloween gives kids to have fun with their friends. Also, it gives kids a chance to get away from some of the school work. Kids are very stressed during the school year and walking around the neighborhood helps them get rid of their stress. Also kids should be supervised by an adult but going door to door gives them good social skills that they need in life as they get older. So in conclusion I believe Halloween is a good day for kids.

In my opinion, Halloween is a very good holiday. As a kid, I like to go trick or treating because you get lots of good sweets. It is also a great time to see all your best friends that you only see in school. You can were fun costumes that really express your personality. In trick or treating as you get in middle school, you start to go without your parents and just friends. This teaches the kids that this is the age that you really need to start being more responsible. You should start making better choices even without your parents. So, for all the people saying Halloween is bad, I believe you are wrong.

I think Halloween is not dangerous and it shouldn’t be banned. Halloween isn’t dangerous, it is a fun time when children can step out of themselves and be a princess or Batman for a day. They can go out and show off their awesome costumes to their friends and neighbors. They also get candy! Outlawing Halloween us a rash decision and would just bring down everyone’s spirits.

Halloween is a safe and alternatively purposeful holiday. In opinion Halloween is a safe holiday and should not be outlawed. It can be completely safe if you do not walk in roads and dress appropriately. Halloween is a fun holiday made to scare spirits away. It is a traditional holiday that shall not be banned because people that are not following everyday safety precautions therefor it is not the holidays fault it is the people that are not following general rules that have bad effects. All traditional holidays have their cons but just because people aren’t being responsible and accepting the safety of themselves and others they should not ban a holiday that has been in our history for generations. To conclude, Halloween can be a safe holiday if you respect the safety precautions.

Halloween is dangerous and should be outlawed. First of all, Halloween is dangerous because kids aren’t watching for cars and it’s a high risk for kids to get hit. Secondly, Children are getting candy from strangers. Candy is also very expensive. No one wants to buy it and just hand it out to greedy children. Lastly, Candy leads to obesity, bulling, and vandalism.

HelenP I1J1 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween is the only time kids are able to get free candy after school. Candy may be expensive, but the people in the homes are happy to buy it for the little kids in costumes. Some people just keep their lights off if they don’t want kids to come to their houses. For Halloween the stores that sell the candy, decorations, and the costumes make a lot of money during October. During trick - or - treating no kid or teenager uses their phones or electronics because they are too busy getting candy then later maybe trading candy with friends. Halloween is fun for teenagers because they either go trick - or - treating or go to a Halloween party with friends. Many people say they want to ban Halloween because it’s too dangerous. I say that we should keep Halloween to keep and smiles on the children.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. It is a break for kids to get away from school and have some fun . It’s fun for kids because they can be whatever that want to be and they get to see what their friends are too. They can also spend time with their friends and family. Also it’s a way for kids to be creative. I believe Halloween is good for kids.

JaredBI1J1 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. It allows kids to be creative while making their costumes. In busy areas, cars should not driving fast enough to hurt anyone. People would know if to get out of the way if their headlights are on. Also, people should know when Halloween is, so they know when to expect scary costumes. People have an option of getting candy for Halloween. They don’t have to spend much money on a costume either, they could just make it at home. Parents should be watching how much candy kids are eating so they won’t get sick. One day of extra candy isn’t too bad.

Halloween is not dangerous and should no be banned. For years I have went trick or treating and have never been in serious danger. The most hurt I have gotten on halloween is when I fell because my shoe was untied. The people I get candy from are not strangers. Most of the people are my parents friends. People allways are driving cars but nobody has been in danger from them in my life.

DominicSA2B2 said...

Halloween is a holiday that should not be banned. It’s a Holiday that kids have that they can be themselves. They can dress up as anyone they want to be for Halloween and have a time to hang out with their friends. The children also get free candy and go to parties. These are many reasons why Halloween should not be banned.

JosephL A2B2 said...

Halloween should be celebrated. This holiday should be celebrate because you need some scare in your life and have some fun. This is good and you get a lot of candy and having a good time with your friends. You get to dress up and just have fun and party. And older people can have Halloween to and have fun.

AudreyOA2B2 said...

To me Halloween is not dangerous and it should not be banned. Halloween is a fun holiday when you can get together with friends and have fun. Halloween is a good break from the worry and troubles of school. In the article we read it said Halloween was dangerous because kids were running around in the dark unsupervised. Parents could easily change this. A parent could tag along with the younger kids or have them home by a certain time. Halloween is fun when it comes to picking out costumes or just having a good time with your friends. I don’t see it as a “dangerous” holiday. Halloween is not a threatening holiday and it should not be outlawed.

RyankA2 said...

I think Halloween is a good holiday. I think that because it is when you get to hang out with your friends. Some people say that it is dangerous because you’re getting candy from strangers but you shouldn’t be trick or treating somewhere you don’t know. People also say it is expensive but it is no more expensive than Christmas or even Thanksgiving. If parents are driving they have to expect that kids are going to be trick or treating so they have to do whatever they’re going to do before Halloween. Also you should limit how much candy you eat to avoid cavities and if you don’t that is your problem. That is why Halloween is a good holiday.

taylorzc1 said...

Halloween should be celebrated. Halloween should be celebrated because you get candy and you get to dress up. Also for Halloween people go to haunted hayride and haunted houses. Some people like to be scared and Halloween is the right holiday. This is why we should celebrate Halloween.

SamA2B said...

I personally believe that Halloween should not be outlawed for a number of reasons. One of those reasons is that if law makers and other government officials are focusing on such minor occurrences such as Halloween then they are Cleary not fit for their position in the government. Also Halloween has been around for generations and has very rarely caused a disturbance near the magnitude that was said by lawmakers and other people have exaggerated it to.

lilyg a2b2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Trick-or-treating is not dangerous because children 10 and under are acomponied by an adult and kids 11 and up are with thier freinds and at least one of their parents. People who say halloween is wrong are mad that teenagers are egging houses and cars but not all teenager do that. All kids look forward to halloween.that is why halloween is not bad.

Cora R A2B2 said...

Halloween is not a dangerous holiday, and it should not be banned. If people dont want to buy candy to hand out, than they dont have to bhand it out , the people that buy candy to pass out is their choice if they want to or not. Halloween is a fun scary night, dresing up to be anything you want and getting free candy. Plus parents could go with thier children so theyknow were thay are and know they are ok. So Halloween is not a dangerous holiday, and it should not be baned.

ShelbyN713 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Alowing kids to get candy from strangers is the point of Halloween. You dont need to buy candy anyway, theres millions of houses they could go to. Also, there would be no cars because everyone is either home or trick - or - treating. Kids dress up and have fun on that special day. Halloween is not dangerous.

CheyenneBA2B2 said...

I think that Halloween should not be taken away from kids. The reason why I think that is because little kids should not be punished for not doing anything. All of the little kids just get dressed up for Halloween and go door, to door, saying “TRICK OR TREAT” and then they get candy. So, the little kids, ages 2 to like 12 just ask for candy. Mean-while some of the teenagers go and scare all of the little kids for no reason. The teenagers also, pull pranks on the “elderly” and adults. There for, that is why I think that Halloween should not be taken away from kids that do not do anything on Halloween, except for going door, to door asking for candy. If anything I think that kids ages 14-19 should not be able to go trick or treating.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be banned. Halloween originated in Ireland 300 years ago. It was to scare the evil spirits away from homes by putting on scary costumes and decorations. Candy was handed out on Halloween to keep kinds causing mischief and destroying property. If we ban Halloween it will destroy the culture of a country. With police and adults around on Halloween it makes it less likely for bad things to happen.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. People worry too much about kids in society today. Back when my parents were little their father or mother would have them run to the drugstore and get them something without thinking twice. Now we can’t even go to the drugstore without an adult. We are waiting for freedom even though you say that we do have it. We don’t. We are just as capable as an 18 year old to do things (like crossing a street) on our own.

JessicaH C2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. I think Halloween is just a fun day that is meant for kids to enjoy themselves. Yeah… candy is bad for kids but maybe they don’t have candy that often. Halloween might be one of the only days they can have candy. It is also a time where you can have fun with your friends while trick or treating. They might be going to strangers houses but if you’re not old enough than you usually have a parent with you to keep you safe. I think Halloween is a nice, fun holiday for kids and should not be outlawed.

AlexPc2e2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. On Halloween kids have a great time. They run around to each house getting candy. They also have a great time wearing a mask and maybe even scaring there friends. Also kids love when they get home and they smell the huge bag of candy and after they eat it! Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed.

CharlieTC2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed because Halloween is a great time to have fun with family and friends. Yes it can be dangerous but if you careful you can have a great time. People enjoy this holiday because all the kids that trick or treat have a great time and enjoy all of their goodies and treats. The one main thing kids should look out for is those nasty cavities. That is why we sdould not outlaw this great holiday!

MaxWC2E2 said...

Halloween is dangerous and should be outlawed. It is very dangerous for kids to be on a street at night, cars could not see them and they could get run over. The candy they get from strangers could be poisoned or could have something in it. Even if the candy was not messed with then they could still get cavities or lose their teeth. The customs can also be very scary when kids dress up like zombies and creatures. Some customs can also encourage bad beaver.

JakeSC2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween shall not be outlawed because many kids have very fun getting all the candy door to door. It is fun for people to dress up in different costumes to show off to friends. And many people want to make Halloween safe too like having certain places just for trick or treating so people don’t have to watch out for cars. Trick or treating can also make you have less stress by getting things off your mind because you’re having fun. Halloween is a decision for people to do so u don’t have to ban it because you don’t have to trick or treat.

GabriellaRC2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween is a fun time for children where they get to fun around as a different person for the night. For those who say that people feel obliged to get candy and find it really expensive, lots of people find it fun to hand out candy and enjoy seeing all of the costume ideas. Also, most parents go out with their kids while they trick or treat, so most kids are being supervised and are not alone. Many children find Halloween fun just because it gives them a chance to get out of the house. Many people find themselves getting frightened by scary costumes, getting frightened is just part of the fun for Halloween. Halloween is not something that should be outlawed it should be celebrated like it is now.

Guiliana A C2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. I think Halloween is a holiday that is fun and not dangerous. All kids and teens should be able to go trick or treating. They deserve a day to dress up as anything they want and get some candy. If Kids go with an adult and stay on the side of the road Halloween is not dangerous. Halloween is very special to most kids because they get to hang with their friends and have fun.

LukePC2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Children should have a chance to have fun and eat candy, and in some cases, go to a party with friends. Halloween has the potential to be dangerous, if kids go trick-or-treating all by themselves. But, parents will either go trick-or-treating with their kids, or set a curfew for them if they are with friends. Some people think that Halloween is too “expensive”. In most stores, there are Halloween discounts on candy. And if you don’t want to buy candy, you don’t have to celebrate Halloween. Halloween is a great holiday and should be celebrated for a very long time.

charliedc2e2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. I think Halloween is a good holiday for kids to get off their couch and go trick or treating. I mean yeah eating all of that candy is bad for your teeth but it is only for one night. Kids have fun dressing up like their favorite movie or television show character. My parents even go trick or treating with us. Last year we all dressed up like the three stooges. It was lots of fun. Halloween is a fun holiday for children and adults. I think it is a little ridiculous that some states ban decorating their house for a little Halloween spirit. I think that Halloween should not be outlaws because it is lots of fun for everyone.

erik j C2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. We should be able to get the candy we love for free and eat it without any one worrying. It’s the time were we get to dress up and have haunted houses and wear mask whenever. But what is cool is you get to go out and say u have a face problem or something and your embarrassed to go outside you can get to trick-or-treat without anyone giving you a strange look. In conclusion Halloween is a great holiday for kids.

Halloween is dangerous and should be outlawed. I think Halloween should be outlawed because little kids are running around getting candy from strangers. Kids don’t even watch out for cars, they just dart out in front of cars and run a very high risk of getting hit. Also dressing up like zombies and creatures can scare people and little kids. Candy is also very expensive and no one wants to buy it and just give it out for free. Is a bothering and annoying holiday that is unnecessary. It only profits candy and costume companies. It also gives kids cavities, obesity, bad nutrition, vandalism, bullying, dangerous costumes and masks. This is why Halloween is bad and should be outlawed.

HannahRC2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween is no more than a fun holiday which many children look forward to. Many people argue that candy and costumes are expensive. Parents have the option of giving their kids homemade costumes and you don’t have to give out candy on Halloween. Most stores also have candy on sale around the time of Halloween. Halloween also gives kids the opportunity to have a charity event called “Trick or Treat for Unicef”, which raises money. Halloween is at the end of October which is when school gets going, so the celebration could be a night to take a break from homework and stress about school or peers. Adults argue about a safety issue on Halloween. Since they are just kids, cars should be aware of other people around them and drive slower. Spooky costumes are mostly worn by older teens and teenagers commonly go to parties on Halloween. The fun holiday is just a celebration and should not be outlawed because there is much more excitement than danger.

KelseyWC2E2 said...

Halloween is dangerous and should be outlawed. I think Halloween should be outlawed because there are little kids taking candy from strangers. Our parents taught us when we were younger not to talk to strangers and during Halloween you talk to strangers. That will confuse little kids. Also there are little kids walking all over and with no parents. That could be very dangerous. Also it is very dark out and there could be a very high risk of you getting hurt just because you could not see. Halloween can be a very dangerous holiday.

Jack L C2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween is very important to many kids across the United States and even around the world. Kids look forward to this holiday for the candy and dressing up. Halloween is a privilege for kids to go around the neighborhood and trick-or-treat. Also, why take a privilege away from millions of kids? Just because you are getting candy from strangers does not mean there are going to be harmful things in the candy. People should not be worrying so much about their kids getting sick from harmful substances in their Halloween candy. Also, you can always check the candy wrapping to make sure it is wrapped all the way and not carelessly wrapped. Kids do watch out for cars. Kids walk on the sidewalk or the side of the road. The only time kids are in the middle of the street is when they are crossing the street to get to another house. I believe Halloween should not be banned across the world and Halloween is a privilege to kids and a lot of kids use this privilege wisely

Annadc2e2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween is a tradition that has been celebrated for years. Being a kid I think the Halloween is a fun way for us to hang out with our friends. It says in the article is says “ these kids have enough with their video games and electronic devices” but adults are always saying how kids are never talking face to face and seeing each other outside of school. This is a good way to forget about electronics for a night and hanging out with our friends. A lot of people like Halloween and celebrate it so why should they suffer because others don’t want it to go on.

Halloween is dangerous and should be outlawed. I know this because kids of ages 5-9 ire going trick-or-treating dress up running around to strangers and getting candy from different people and they can be something’s parents do not want their kids want. Also when kids run around in their costumes they could get bullied by older teens and when there wearing their coustumes some can trip on what ever their wearing. Also kids get lots of candy that can give them sugar high. So they should make a time for all ages so they don’t run into each other. That is why it should be outlawed.

MichaelRC2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween is very important to kids these days. Kids look forward to Halloween because it is a chance to go around in cool costumes with your friends and get candy. Also, usually there won’t be a lot of cars because most parents are either with their kids or giving out candy at their doors. Also, kids usually go trick or treating at a friendly neighborhood where they wouldn’t put harmful substances and chemicals in the candy. Halloween is a time to get away from stress and school and hang out with your friends. Also, you can get away from bullying and even get nice compliments like cool costume. Lastly, as a middle school kid, Halloween is a test of responsibility because you usually go without your parents and with your friends.

Halloween is a fantastic holiday and should be celebrated for generations to come. First of all, kids should not be getting candy from strangers they should be trick-or-treating in familiar places like their apartment complexes or neighborhoods and should eliminate the threat of getting candy from strangers. Next, some people do not know where the idea of Halloween even came from. This may be true but this is because we are not doing anything about it. The idea of dressing up was to scare the evil away and it came from China. Also, some say it is a threat for children, walking out in the road with darting cars. If this is true one should not blame Halloween for this blame the parents of the children who did not teach them not to do this. Finally some people are scared when people dress up like zombies and such on Halloween. Kids are taught at a young age not be afraid of monsters Halloween reinforces the things that we were taught as a child. In conclusion Halloween should continue to be celebrated.

Halloween is good and should not be outlawed because Halloween gets kids free candy. This article says that kids from ages 5-11 should be able to trick-or-treat and should be accompanied by an adult. People say that trick-or-treating is vandalism, bullying, and dangerous and causes cavities, obesity, and bad nutrition. I only want to here my dentist saying that. People go trick-or-treating for FUN!!!!!!! Please don’t cancel Halloween. The only holiday that kids get free candy and walk around in costumes (For FUN)!!!!!!!!!

Halloween may be in the dark but parents do go with kids and older kids are more responsible. Parents you are with kids can watch out for people who might look for trouble. Halloween is fun and gives kids a chance to use their imagination and think of something fun and cool. Halloween also gives kids some time to party and meet up with friends. Kids have fun on Halloween because they can go around and get candy. Grown-ups do not have to give out candy if they don’t want to buy it. Kids may have chance to do graffiti or vandalism but parents are around and can make sure kids don’t do anything to bad. In conclusion Halloween is very fun and shouldn’t be banned

LoganKA2B2 said...

Halloween should not be banned. It shouldn’t be banned because it is loved by many other children and it is also a very fun holiday. The purpose of Halloween is to give people a little scare for once. Also, many scary and interesting costumes are sold at many different stores, especially Party city. There is a very low chance of a child being bullied while trick or treating for a reason, the reason is that the bully’s parent would keep him or her from bullying someone. Overall, Halloween is a very fun holiday and it really shouldn’t be banned.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Trick- or- treating is a fun activity that is a big part of their childhood. So they should be able to have the experience. Even some teenagers have fun trick-or-treating with their friends. Halloween is fun for many ages teens and parents can have parties and children can go trick-or-treating for candy they enjoy and look forward to when the night is over. Halloween is not dangerous and should be celebrated.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. I believe this because Halloween is the one day a kid can forget about everything and just enjoy them selves. Many kids these days get bullied, but on Halloween they can be free because no one will know who they are. I also believe if people took away Halloween many people could be very upset including parents because this is one of their children’s favorite holiday, and they wouldn’t want their children to be sad. Even though these people think that Halloween is unsafe, there is many towns and neighborhoods that are very safe. So, the people who live in cities or unsafe area can come to a safe neighborhood and trick or treat. In conclusion Halloween should not be out lawed for reasons that can be easily fixed.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. One reason why I believe Halloween should not be outlawed is because it gives kids a chance to get away from all their school work. Getting away from school and school work can help kids release stress. Another reason why I believe Halloween should not be outlawed is because it gives kids a chance to show their personality and also interact with their friends. While picking out Halloween costumes, you can have fun with your friends and you can dress up to be whatever you want. A last reason why I believe Halloween should not be band is because it gives kids a chance to have some sweets. Halloween is the perfect holiday to have plenty of sweets and to have fun! In conclusion, Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. I think it’s not dangerous because almost all the time nothing happens to the kids during Halloween. Halloween is not a dangerous holiday and should not be outlawed. Halloween is a holiday that allows friend to get together and have fun. It’s not their fault if some people are irresponsible. The decorations and costumes are just kids having a little fun. If the decorations and costumes scare you, or your children then simply don’t take them out on that night. The companies that sell the costumes, decorations and candy are just offering it to you they are not saying you have to buy it. If you don’t like to buy the candy and give it out the just don’t participate in the holiday. If you do buy candy and give it out and then the kids over eat its there fault. Why should other people be punished for other people’s actions?

WhitneySA2B2 said...

Halloween is not a dangerous holiday. Halloween is a holiday there kids can be anything they want to be and they can just hang out with their friends and not have to worry about school or what is happening at their house. Many people say that it is offensive when kids dress up like monsters. Why is this offensive if you are not a monster? Also some people believe that it is not safe for children to be getting candy from strangers. If the parents don’t trust that neighbor then they should step in and tell their child not to go to that house! Finally children don’t get to make many choices in their life so they should have the right to choose whether or not they celebrate this holiday and not have this choice taken away from them.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween is good because it lets kids dress up in their costumes and have fun. Some people say that the costumes are inappropriate and scare people but they shouldn’t ban the whole holiday because a few people dressed up in scary costumes. Also, people say that candy is too expensive. If people think that then they can make homemade treats to give out to the kids and they won’t have to spend any money. Lastly Halloween has been around for a very long time and it would disappoint many people who like the holiday if it got banned.

KyleF C2E2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed because it’s the time that most kids can go out and dress up get candy and have fun but it is not always the safest thing because people like older kids can go out and ruin other kid’s night. Kids usually don’t watch out for cars because it’s dark out so it is very dangerous and people could dress up in black and not be seen on the road. Kids who are under age to be out alone are most likely to be safe instead of getting rid of Halloween just make the age limit higher to be out alone so kids can enjoy candy and be safe. Therefore should not be outlawed.

JoeMI2J2 said...

Halloween should not be outlawed. It is an important holiday for kids of all ages. It gives kids an opportunity to be free and dress up. Halloween is also a good pass to let kids have candy. Halloween is also good for some older people too. People decorate their houses trying to scare kids although they don’t but whatever makes them happy. People think it’s dangerous because there are cars going around and kids are getting candy from strangers. But only a real jerk would give little kids things other than candy. This is why I think we should keep this great holiday of Halloween.

MarkGI2J2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween is a good time for kids to interact and socialize with others. Kids will get candy for free and their parents will not have to pay for it. Even though the holiday is unnecessary it is the one night that kids can stay up late and hang out with friends. If kids are between the ages 5-11 then the parents should make the chose if they can go without an adult. Halloween should not be outlawed.

AdamBI2J2 said...

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be banned. If Halloween is banned it would be a missed opportunity to socialize and be with friends. People with a mental or physical disorder on Halloween have a chance to go out and be part of a group without maybe being made fun of because of a disorder. If kids take proper responsibilities and don’t run in front of cars, brush teeth, and are respectful, Halloween would be a great holiday for all. Halloween should not be banned because there would be many missed opportunities for children and adults.

Halloween is a dangerous holiday and should be outlawed. Halloween is not a good holiday for children. I have this opinion because Halloween is a where kids go around to strangers houses and get candy. Maybe the stranger’s poisoned it or maybe it was last year’s candy. You never know unless you know the people you are receiving the treats from. Another reason I think Halloween is dangerous because people may not have enough money to buy enough candy for their neighborhood or your child might have a wealthier friend who wants to dress alike and spends a lot of money on costumes when you don’t have any money for some silly outfit. I do not like this holiday for these reasons. Happy Halloween!!

SamGI2J2 said...

Halloween is dangerous and should be outlawed. I believe this because children can get hurt out and about on the holiday. Getting candy from strangers that they don’t know can be dangerous and the candy may be contaminated with an item that may hurt them. During the night kids walk in the roads and jump in front of cars, this can result in injures or even death of a person. Also with the candy that the children get it can cause cavities in the mouth, bad nutrition, vandalism, and bullying can occur. Some people don’t like to be scared and Halloween is all about scaring people. This is offensive to some people by scaring them.

Halloween is not a bad and dangerous holiday. Halloween is a celebration of scary movies and story. People think that kids walk in the road and don’t think of watching for cars even though everyone knows that kids walk from house to house on Halloween. People also think that people get obese and cavities but, the parents are giving kids the candy and they are the ones fighting to outlaw Halloween. Most kids are excited when Halloween comes around so why would you want your kids to whine about not having Halloween? So in conclusion, I think we shouldn’t outlaw Halloween.

Halloween is dangerous and should be outlawed. Halloween should be outlawed because kids are getting candy from strangers and not watching out for cars. Also candy is very expensive and no one wants to buy it just to give it away. Lastly Halloween is “bad” holiday is because kid’s costumes are often offensive and they scare people. Halloween is a very dangerous holiday and should be outlawed.

I do not think that Halloween is dangerous. Kid have a lot of fun trick or treating with their parents, and since they have their parents with them, it is less dangerous. Also, it is not just one pointless tradition. It was a very special day in the past where all of the people got dressed up in scary costumes to scare off all of the ghosts in the town. Nowadays, we know that ghosts are not real but the tradition goes on. Most of the costumes are no longer scary, so instead of werewolves and vampires, now they are animals and princesses. The costume companies are not all benefiting from Halloween because there are a lot of families that make their own costumes. I do not think that Halloween should be banned.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. When it comes to Halloween, the idea of trick-or-treating comes to everyone’s mind. Now some towns and whole communities are starting to ban the decorating of lawns and, an iconic part of American culture, trick-or-treating. “Kids are getting candy from strangers!” but those same strangers are there for the rest of the year, why not ban Easter for the possibility of someone putting something dangerous in an Easter egg? Some people are presenting good points about Halloween being bad, but most people are fishing for reasons to support the cause. “Furthermore, their costumes are offensive” says a New York legislator, “They scare people out of their wits!” Costumes are a way that children can express themselves and Halloween is a night of fun. Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed.

Halloween is NOT dangerous, and it should NOT be outlawed. One reason why Halloween should not be outlawed is because kids look forward to Halloween. Kids start thinking about what they are going to wear at the start of September. Also, Halloween gives kids time to hang out with their friends, and have some independence away from their parents. Police officers are always patrolling neighborhoods to make sure that cars are slowing down to let kids cross. Lastly, outlawing Halloween will cause a lot of problems, because people have been doing it for a long time, and it’s an American tradition.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween is a night where kids can be kids. They don’t have parents telling them what to do every five minutes. Halloween is where kids can dress up and have walking around with there friends. And on Halloween kids get to eat all the candy and have a enjoyable night. Halloween is a very enjoyable holiday and should not be outlawed.

AbigayleJI1J1 said...

Halloween is a horrible holiday and should be outlawed. It can lead to cavities, obesity, bad nutrition, bullying, or even vandalism. The holiday is very dangerous. Children are literally walking up to complete strangers’ homes and asking them for candy. They also don’t look out for cars when trick or treating. There is a very high risk of them being hit by a vehicle when they do this. Also, their costumes can be very offensive and expensive. Some costumes can be over one hundred dollars, and usually kids only wear them once. Furthermore, candy is very expensive. Kids want to have full size chocolate bars, which are at least one dollar apiece. The “holiday” only profits the candy and costume industries. Halloween is just an annoying, expensive, and horrible tradition with little purpose and should be outlawed.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. Halloween is a fun holiday that gives kids the chance to be creative and to dress up. It is also fun to visit friends, family and neighbors. Halloween is an old tradition that doesn’t have to be scary. Carving pumpkins, bobbing for apples and eating candy is enjoyable for everyone. People who are against Halloween say that eating candy can lead to bad nutrition, but eating candy once a year shouldn’t affect you. Lastly, some people enjoy scary stuff on Halloween like haunted houses. That is why Halloween is not dangerous and shouldn’t be outlawed.

I think Halloween isn’t dangerous and shouldn’t be outlawed. This is a good time for kids to get away from school and be free. Kids need more time with friends and being active than sitting in hard chairs all day. Not all costumes are offensive. These costumes that are scary are part of the Halloween custom and are meant to be scary. This makes the event much more exciting for the parents and the kids.

Halloween should not be banned. Halloween is a holiday for kids to have fun and get candy. Halloween is not dangerous for example if you decorate your lawn and dress up in a costume that is not dangerous, what is about that. It will only get other people a scare maybe, but that is not dangerous. Kids should not feel threatened by going up to a strangers door because they probably have a parent with them if they are from the ages of 1-14. So Halloween should not be banned because it is not dangerous it has been in our culture for many years.

Halloween should be allowed because it’s the one night were all kids can forget about there worries about school and other things and just have fun. Its also the one night were kids can have as many candy’s as they want. The one night that kids are allowed to dress up and be free from parents. The night were people can have good laughs and getting scared by people . The one night you can be free from everything.

I do not think that Halloween is dangers or should be banned. Sure some people do dumb things when they go out but that’s no reason to ban it. Many kids and adults love Halloween it is a time to stay up late and get free candy also for Halloween people can enter costume tournaments and win prizes. Personally I would prefer day of the dead like in Mexico because that is a still relevant holiday. Halloween was made many years ago to scare off ghosts and day of the dead is to honor the past relatives. Some people say costumes are expensive but many families make their own costumes. A lot of people like to have parties on holidays and most people have something special they do on Halloween. That’s why I don’t think that Halloween should be ban.

I think Halloween is not dangerous and should definitely not be outlawed because it is a time for children to get some freedom in there life and go out and have fun with there friends. Families also love Halloween because it’s a spooky fun time to spend with each other. People also like having Halloween parties, kids love trick or treating, and these are my reasons why Halloween should definitely not be banned.

Halloween is not a dangerous holiday and should not be outlawed. I believe it shouldn’t be outlawed because it is a day where kids can just enjoy. I also believe Halloween shouldn’t be outlawed because it gets kids out of the house. It lets them socialize with friends and neighbors and gets kids off their devices out of the house. I don’t think Halloween should be outlawed because people say that we shouldn’t celebrate it because it scares people. But if you don’t want to get scared then you shouldn’t celebrate Halloween. People also say Halloween is dangerous because you are getting candy from strangers. But they are your friends and neighbors, not strangers. So that’s why I believe that Halloween should not be outlawed.

Halloween is dangerous and should be banned. Kids go from house to house asking for candy from total strangers. Halloween also increases the chances of cavities, obesity, ban nutrition, vandalism, bullying, and dangerous costumes and masks. Most kids don’t even know where Halloween came form (including me) making the tradition even more of a problem. Lastly, Halloween only benefits the costume companies and the candy companies.

Next week is Halloween and some people think holiday is bad and should be removed and outlawed. Well that’s their opinion and I have my own as well. I think Halloween should not be outlawed because it’s a holiday that’s been around for some time now. I believe that I should not be outlawed because kids all enjoy Halloween and its fun for them. Almost everybody in the whole world has at least went trick or treating at least once in their whole life. Halloween is for enjoyment and getting candy and being free. Just like Christmas it’s all about life, will, luck, enjoyment, family, and friends. Halloween is not bad at all it’s just some teens and kids being free like having no school, and hanging out with your friends. Some people think that for Halloween is dangerous. And think it’s all about getting things from complete strangers, but most of the time little kids are with adults and teens can handle themselves. Also most people are trick or treating in their neighborhood or the relatives. This is why I believe Halloween should not be outlawed.

Halloween shouldn’t be outlawed in America. I think this because Halloween is one of the most celebrated Holidays in the U.S.A. and lets people enjoy candy, costumes and a little exercise. Without Halloween candy business around the country would go out of business leading to widespread unemployment. Halloween is the second most celebrated holiday in America and is the highlight of October. Without Halloween October would be the boring month of the year.

Another reason Halloween should not be outlawed is because parents are carful with there kids and don’t let them do what ever they want they protect there kids. So that is why Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed.

By kids getting away from their school work it might relieve stress. Halloween does not cause obesity in children because it is only one day of bad food. If you only have a lot of candy one day a year than you will not be obese. Halloween is a holiday loved by many people and will make many childhood memories. It should not be outlawed because of the few people who think bad about it.

I believe that Halloween should be allowed. It gives kids a chance to hang out with their friends and have fun. They get to eat candy run around and dress up in costumes. The only thing dangerous is cars on Halloween I think on Halloween cars should go really slow through developments and everything will be fine. So in my opinion Halloween is fine and should be allowed. Besides kids love it and its fun.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed because people like spending time with their family members and hanging out with friends and cousins you don’t get to see very often. The best part of Halloween is dressing up and going out and getting the candy and then going home and eating candy. It wouldn’t be fair to other people who are taking there 4 or 5 year old out tricking or treating for the first. If people took Halloween away people wouldn’t get to share all the fun and enjoyable memories that they had going trick or treating. It also wouldn’t be fair that only 5-11 year olds get to go trick or treating and who would hand out the candy because the kids would have to have an adult with them at a times and what if kids don’t have parents or have disorders where they are 12 and have the brain development issue and they love to go trick treating that wouldn’t be fair to them if they wanted to go trick or treating.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. One reason Halloween should not be outlawed is kids have fun with their friends. Halloween is not dangerous because kids go trick or treating around there neighborhood so they will not be going to strangers houses. Also candy doesn’t cost that much, the most it costs is $5 not $100. These are all reasons Halloween should not be banned.

Halloween should not be outlawed. It gives kids a chance to have fun and enjoy themselves with their friends. Some schools have banned Halloween. Kids are stressed about school and testing and homework. Having Halloween allows them to relive their stress and have fun. If schools take Halloween it could make matters worse and stir up a lot of anger from kids. Also, if kids are accompanied by an adult, it gives them the supervision they need to stay safe.

Halloween is not dangerous and should not be outlawed. One of the points given about Halloween being banned was “candy is too expensive” in that case turn off you front lights and don’t answer the front door. Also, obesity and cavities are not because of Halloween, obesity is caused by regularly not eating healthy, and cavities are caused when you don’t brush their teeth. Halloween is a fun holiday for children to celebrate. The true scare is the people who want to ban it.

Halloween should be outlawed because it’s dangerous. It should because kids get beaten up for their candy. Kids go out in different costumes and when the bowl says take one they take the whole bowl. Grown people could poison the candy with a drug or pill.

Halloween should not be outlawed because it is a holiday. It is a fun and scary experience to get away from the school work and stress. Before the holiday, people spend money on candy. This gives the candy factory tons of money to keep them going. Kids have a good time trick or treating in their neighborhood.

Halloween is a dangerous holiday and it should not be celebrated.
Halloween is bad! Kids are dressing up as scary and offensive creatures, some even with fake body parts and heads. This holiday shouldn’t be celebrated because kids and adults are being scared out of their pants! Also, if a kid is dressing up with a long dress like costume such as bloody-Mary or the grim-reaper they could get caught on a tire or pieces of glass and house parts and be pulled or tripped. Another reason why this is bad is because kids are taking candy from strangers, one experience I had was getting a piece of gum when I was little from a candy bucket and not checking the rapper, I bit into it and their was a piece of metal in it. This is my point! Strangers giving candy out to little kids, and them not knowing better to check the rapper so they can get a serious injury or sickness. Parents are not being responsible watching their children, letting them go out on their own in the middle of the night, teenagers are egging houses and toilet papering them adults are going home to complete messes that they have to clean up, damages and break-in’s even occur.

BryannaAI1J1 said...

I think that halloween is a great holiday and we should keep celebrating it! I think Halloween should be kept a holiday because it makes children express themselves through their costume. And it is also a holiday for the kids whom have insecurities about their body and go out and have a great time. I'm reading this book called Wonder. It's about a kid who's face is deformed and he loves Halloween because he gets to go out and nobody knows who he is. I do think kids shouldn't be insecure about themselves, but there are kids out there that are and Halloween is a great way for them to make progress. So in conclusion I think Halloween should always be a holiday nationwide.

Trick or treat!

Halloween is dangerous and should be outlawed. it should because kids are taking candy from other adults and the adults could have poisoned it ect. Another reason why trick or treating is bad is kids are running across the streets trying to get candy as fast as they can. They aren’t worrying about running in front of cars. They could get hit! Candy is also very expensive. Not all adults that live in busy trick or treat neighborhoods want to pay at least fifty dollars or more for candy. Also some adults dress infants in inappropriate Clothing. Halloween needs to be outlawed and is dangerous.
