Is Online School Really a Good Idea? Trimester 1
What do you think about going to school in your pajamas? No, I'm not talking about pajama day, I'm talking about online school. Would you like the flexibility of being able to take Math quizzes online and chatting with other students through Face Time or a Google Hangout? Would you miss your friends and hanging out at lunch or does online school sound perfect to you? Remember that you'd never get a snow day. I think online school is a good idea. Online school is a good idea because it allows kids that are bullied to get away from every one. Also, I think online school is good because you won’t have any distractions. Next, people in online school can plan there school time around there self. Finally, online school will let people have all the help they need and be how they like to be. That is why I think online school is a good idea.

Online school can be good for kids because those who are easily distracted can get more work done. If you need a breather because you are having trouble with a math problem or you are having trouble reading the text, you can walk around to cool down and breathe. If you don’t have any friends at school or your friends are abusive, you don’t have to deal with them. You just focus on your work. If you have a cold, you can still go to ‘school’ because you will not be contaminating anyone. If you have trouble seeing, you it can help you a lot with the correct equipment. If it takes you longer to do one subject than another, you can spend more time on that subject than on a subject that takes you seconds to learn. If you have trouble transitioning from class to class, you don’t need to, you are a click away from your French class. Online school can be a miracle for some people, but can be troublesome to others. It basically depends on who you are as a kid or student.
I think online school is a bad idea. I think this because I think kid’s K-12 should interact with people besides their parents, so they don’t grow up to be anti-social. Another, reason I think online school is a bad idea because the screen could damage their eyesight and have to wear glasses because they stare at a screen 6 hours a day. This can also cause dyslexia. Kids might not care as much because they are in the comfort of their own home. They might feel they can get up and do anything they feel like. Also, the kid can’t be disciplined, so they might think they can do anything and won’t get in trouble. The kids could get fat because they are probably boarded so, they sit around eating all day. Then, they will get obese and die of a heart attack.

In an online school you can’t make new friends or meet new teachers. In school you can have time to sit as a group and enjoy a lunch. On an online school you are by yourself eating lunch. Also when you are in school you have the opportunity to experience plays and other activities. They are chances to socialize with people and for others to make school more exciting. On an online school you do not have that opportunity. That is why I think online school is a bad idea.

I think creating 3-D printed organs is a bad idea. I think this because if the printing went wrong causing pain or death for the person being operated on. It also my cause problems in the future. It could also be too much effort. Creating new organs my take more time than finding a donor. If the person needs the organ immediately they may be at a loss. It may take time making organs and if the person needs them then they will have to wait. That is why I think 3-D printed organs is a bad idea.

In some school there are after school activities you can participate in. plus when you’re in your house everyday instead of seeing your friends and teachers every day. Plus you don’t get physical education almost every day.
