More info. about US Media Literacy Week:

This week is the first annual United States Media Literacy Week.

What is media literacy?  It’s the ability to understand messages and information we get from the internet, social networking, the radio, the news and magazines.  From the Kardashians to the conflicts in the Middle East, we are bombarded with media each and every day.

The Mets may have lost the World Series last night, but YOU can decide the winner this week.  To celebrate this special week, this week only, teachers and students can take a quick survey posted on the library blog to pick their favorite type of media.

Tomorrow, the adults in our community are voting in local elections.  You can vote this week too-let AMS know your favorite kind of media:  internet, social networking, the radio, the news or magazines.  Cast your vote this week.

The results will be shared next week.

If you have any questions, please see me in the library.  Thank you.  -Mrs. Ekstrom

I think online school is a good idea. Online school is a good idea because if you are having trouble on a subject the teacher will work with your pase. Also you can spend more time with your family and the school schedule will work with you. You wont have much homework because all your work is done online. If you like to go outside then you could spend two hours on school then do whatever you would like to do for the rest of the day. I think online schools would be best for people who spend lots of time with there family.
